This album was issued in - and, in and of itself, doesn't stand up when compared to Lennon's pre studio releases. Yet, in the context of later projects (such as the Lennon Anthology - John Lennon Anthology), this music is well worth listening to/5(44).

The title is a reference to the address of Lennon’s childhood home – Menlove Avenue in Liverpool.
